Journaling : Minga was a good trike. She worked hard & kept her balance well. Because she was such a good trike, we overlooked her squeaky wheels. Erica loved her very much, but finally, she grew too big to ride Minga anymore. And so, now we say goodbye with thanks, to Erica's beloved Minga; a really good little red tricycle. June 2008

Supplies : July kit + letters from Doodlebug & MM, Ki Lace CS & misc brads from my stash.

I absolutely love the patterned paper this month, especially this one that had the white streak like marks on it. As soon as I saw it I instantly knew it would be perfect to use the white streaks for flower stems. I grabbed a flower stamp some white craft ink and absolutely LOVED the effect... So I challenge you to take you patterned paper one step further and embellish it... make it something more!!

Let's face it . . . sometimes we'll be working on a page and it's just NOT coming together how we want it to. The overall design is good, but for whatever reason it feels flat, . . . lifeless. When I run into this problem I like to try adding a circle element somewhere my page! Circles add energy, they soften edges and they help call attention to details as our eye follows their curve. For this weeks' challenge I want you to use a circle element somewhere on your page. I can't wait to see your projects!
